I trained at Ravensbourne College of Art and gained a BA Hons in Graphic Design. I now run my own graphic design and web design company.
Alongside my design business I also pursue my photography and fine art interests and have exhibited in central London and throughout south east England including Llewellyn Alexander, Waterloo and Rowley Contemporary Arts, Kensington.
My passion for photography started whilst studying for my degree in graphic design at Ravensbourne College of Art and Design, where photography was an integral part of the course.
The marriage of light on land, for me, is the key factor and at the heart of my work. I enjoy the way light transforms the landscape momentarily, revealing cloudscapes, atmosphere and textures - I try to capture that moment. I like to explore the integration and effect of weather and landscape, both locally where I live in Edenbridge, Kent and when travelling.
I have won the Kent Wildlife Trust Photographer of the Year award and my work has also appeared on the front cover of Coast Magazine, in Surrey Life, TGO - The Great Outdoors and various other publications and books.
I am one of the four founder artists of the Eden Valley Artists (EVA) - a group that has grown to 26 contemporary artists that organise network gatherings, community art events and exhibitions.
My 15 minutes of fame came when I took part in a radio programme on BBC Radio Kent when I was called upon to discuss classic art and design as part of the BBC's "The Culture Show".
Please get in contact if you would like to discuss my work further - Sarah.
